An international shipping company has its headquarters in North America and offices across the Pacific.
They came to Avidaid with a unique problem. Their ships called on ports in six different countries, all with their own currencies. The local accounts had to be kept in the local currently, however, a monthly consolidation had to be sent to the head offices in its currency.
Avidaid began with an analysis of the business requirements, then created and installed a custom accounting package with General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable that managed the local currencies and converted a copy of the general ledgers into the home currency for monthly transmission. Avidaid managed the project from inception through closing. The entire package consisted of the software as well as an easy to read user manual. End users were trained in the use of the application.
